I was raised by a single mother who taught me the value of integrity, resourcefulness, and self-reliance. I paid for my own college education, navigating the maze of applications, costs, and decisions without a guide. That experience left a mark, and a mission: no student should have to walk that path alone.

After more than twenty-seven years in leadership across industries from global coffee retailers to boutique businesses, I have trained, coached, and mentored teams, built internship programs, and led strategic initiatives that helped people grow. But it was always the young adults, the interns, the new hires, the students in my life who pulled at my heart. Their questions, their uncertainty, their potential. That’s where Journey College Planning was born.

In 2020, I launched JCP to bring common sense and compassion to the business of college. We help families make informed decisions about a process that can cost upwards of $250,000; decisions that shape futures, finances, and identities. It’s not just about getting into college; it’s about choosing a path that aligns with who you are and where you want to go.

As a parent of two incredible young adults, I’ve lived the stress of college planning from both sides. My husband and I saved diligently, but even with preparation, the process was overwhelming. That perspective fuels my work every day. I know what it feels like to want the best for your child and not know where to start.

At JCP, we believe every student deserves thoughtful, strategic, and empathetic guidance. We’re here to demystify the process, reduce the pressure, and help families build futures they can afford and believe in. This isn’t just a business it is a calling. And it’s one I’m proud to answer.
